I mean to give the answer in watts.

To Hot Rocket: Watts or megawatts, could you make up your mind? What is your reasoning?

  1. What is the average human Calorie intake?  It's the same thing.  The recommended amount is about 2000 Calories per day, but obviously that depends on a persons height, weight, gender, metabolism, etc.

A quick conversion says that 2000 Calories is about 2,326 Watt-hours, or about 2.3 kWh.

Watts is not a measure of energy, it's a measure of power.

If you know the answer, why are you asking?

(btw, another simple conversion states that 2.3 kWh per day yields a POWER of 97 watts.)

  2. about two or three watts....that's mega watts.

  3. About 36 kcal per hour

  4. Did the energizer bunny put you up to this?
