    cellulose,

    ethanol,

    palm oil,

    etc.


  2. The lower heating value (LHV) of methanol is 19.9 MJ/kg, the higher heating value is 22.7 MJ/kg.

    The LHV does not include the energy of condensation of water vapor, which you wouldn't be able to recover in an engine.
