  1. I saw a bunch of 5 megawatt ones in Germany a few years ago.   German households use about half the energy as the average American household, so they get more bang for the buck out of each of theirs.   It was also windy every day I was there for two months; never a calm moment that I saw.


  2. it depends on the size and locations, some geographies tend to have more winds  then others.

    some examples had 100kwt.

  3. Depends on the size of the windmill. I've seen them capable of everything from 500W to a couple of megawatts.

    size of the windmill determines how big the generator is

    country determines how many power a household uses

    wind size determines how fast the generator is going to spin

    the distance determines how many energy is lost during transfer
