Swimmers are supposed to shave off the hair on their arms, legs, and chest...How much faster do they go? Does this really make a difference? Do they wax or shave?

  1. Its a combination of hair ,swim suit etc. that can help them go faster because of less resistance.

  2. Sometimes it may only be a 1/10 of a second faster, but when it comes to racing that 1/10 of a second can be the difference between first and second place. And they usually shave it lol.

  3. they go any faster or slower its just that they cant see if they have hair
