  6. Zero.  There is no fat in beer.  But plenty of carbs, which you will convert to sugar, and store as fat.

  7. None! Lite beers have around 100 calories and 3-7 grams of carbs depending on the brand. I stick with that when watching calorie and fat intake.

    Alcohol is 7 cal/gram; carbs & proteins are 4 cal / gram.  Fat is 9 cal/gram.  So, even without fat, you can see there's a good deal of calories from the alcohol.  Guinness has fewer calories than a regular soda!

  9. none,  or at least not enough to be significant.    Beer has alcohol which affects how your body processes fat, but carbohydrates (sugars) are what gives us these nice flotation devices strapped to our bellies.  So try the gin or vodka diet;-)
