How much financial aid can i get for school if I worked last year and got paid well?

Last year I worked lots of overtime at a manufacturing plant where i was getting paid 16.25 an hr this was from June last year until Feb. this year. Since then i have only worked a few retail jobs. My mother also works, and I am worried that the mine and her total income will prevent me from receiving aid for school this year. Anyone know if I can still get some assistance for community college?

Anyone can get financial aid regardless of income in the form of Stafford loans.
