Additional sought-after species include American alligators, red and gray foxes, bobcats, coyotes, nine-banded armadillos, North American river otters, muskrats, American mink, American beaver, bats, Virginia opossums, raccoons and several species each of rabbits and squirrels.

  2. Standard emergency preparation suggests having enough food and water on hand for 2 weeks.  If you're in an area where help could take longer, your supply should be increased.

  3. We stockpile about 9 to 12 months worth of food. Most of it home canned. About every month we rotate new food in and older food out. This practice has saved us not only alot of money, but when work was lean, our whole family still ate well.

  4. ummmm none.  Should I stockpile food and water in case of an emergency???

  5. if your going to do it, then get enough for 4 to 6 months

  6. We don't stockpile as such, but I keep a pantry full of food.  If I didn't go shopping again, we could probably live for 6 months on what's in the pantry on a normal day.
