How much food does a 4yr old and 6yr old consume?

If boys, a lot and the older they get the more you spend.

It really depends on the kid.  Some days my skinny 7 year old can eat as much as me, and I have a friend with a 6 year old who seems to eat almost nothing.  I think I read somewhere that they need around 1500 calories per day.

Buy nutritious foods - your money will go farther by providing the nutrients they need, and the kids will be healthier.

A 6 year old, in my experience, generally eats roughly between 1/3 and 1/2 of an adult female. An 8 year old boy eats 1/2 that of an adult man.  A girl of that age, I'm guessing to be at least 1/2 that of an adult woman.
