  1. I would say lay off of the milk, my 4 year old could drink milk all day, but if he did, he wouldn't have an appetite. Try laying off of the fluids as much and he will only eat if hes hungry. I wouldn't worry about the weight, if your concerned ask the doctor about it, they can tell you if its something to be concerned about. My 1 year old weighs 23 lbs

  2. If he is hungry he will eat!  When he is full he won't.  Babies don't go by visual cues like most of us adults.  They rely on the full feeling when they are full and the empty feeling in their tummy when they are hungry.  Don't worry.  23 lbs. is just fine.  Every baby is different.  If your pediatrician says he is fine, than he is probably fine.  He will likely eat more when going through a growth spurt and less when he is not.  Only your baby can tell you how much he should eat because he is the only one who REALLY knows!

  3. If your baby is satisfied with the amount of food he is getting then I say you are giving him enough.  The variety you mentioned looks good.  Follow the doctors advice and also research online information.

  4. My little boy just turned 1 a couple weeks ago.  He weighs 20 lbs and eats like a pig.  Instead of jar food, start to give him whatever you make for breakfast, lunch and dinner yourself.  My son has 4 teeth on top and on the bottom...8 total.  I cut up tiny bits of steak, potato, corn...that's what we ate yesterday.  He eats everything I make, I just cut them into tiny portions and let him feed himself.  There is no right or wrong potions to give him, if he is still hungry he will be sure to let you know, or if he is full he just won't eat anymore.  Try ravioli's in a can, canned fruit, canned veggies, chicken nuggets (cut them into tiny pieces).  Have you ever tasted the jar food???  Ugh!  I gave it to my oldest once, he hated it, I tasted it...and was like forget this!  Maybe he just doesn't like the 3rd foods, he wants something with better flavor.  Good Luck!

  5. My daughter was born April of 2005 by November besides her formula she was eating regular adult food. She didn't like the baby food. Try grits or oatmeal, sweet potatoes with cinamon and sugar. Apple sauce she enjoyed, and she is now 3 1/2 years old standing 41 inches tall and 35 lbs. The next time you go to the doctor have them weigh and measure him. My daughter is tall for her age and a little underweight but if its even out she is were she needs to be for her age.

  6. my nephew only weighed 16 pounds at 10 months so i think you are doing fine
