  1. wel i  have about 75 rolls and i have a buffaua for a about 50 people because most people wont eat so that my advice

  2. Enough for 100 people :)

  3. 1/4 meat per person average

5 ounces of each vegetable, if serving 2 vegetables, per person 3.5 ounces if having 3 or more.

3 ounces of prepared fruit per person

    300 slices of assorted breads

get whole pickles, and 1/4 them.... only need about 60 total pieces

  4. Start a new trend and have everone bring their own sack lunch

  5. Get enough for atleast 150 people. That way you wont run out of food! good luck

  6. 50 pounds of meat

    100 pounds of vegetables

    100 sandwiches

    5 gallon jars of pickles

    50 pounds of fruit

  7. I would say at least $4000 to $6000

  8. Depends on what you want to serve.  I catered my daughter's wedding last year.  We went through approximately 20 lbs of pork tenderloin which we grilled, I slow roasted several roast beef and pulled them apart and added bbq sauce, it was very good.  I made approximately 5 lbs of chicken pasta salad, 25 lbs of potato salad, I made a watermelon fruit boat which was almost the most expensive part of the meal....We ended up serving almost 300 people.  There were various other fillers but remember that not everyone will eat everything.  It is hard to estimate.  We didn't have much left over though, I was a little nervous.  The food cost was approximately $800.00  Start early as you can and freeze what you can about a week ahead of time.  Slice pickles and butter buns the day before.

It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun.  A labor of love for my daughter.  I wouldn't trade it for anything.  Good luck to you and Congratulations to the happy couple.

  9. a average person will eat 1 1/2 sandwich s.  But if you are including mac salad and greens i would say 1, To be safe 1 1/2.   Also how long are you keeping the food out? People pick more when food is out and get hungry again after drinks and dancing.

  10. This should give you an idea.  If you do some google searching for "large quantity feeding" or cooking, you should also find recipes.  I agree with other poster. Have enough extra (at least 125).

  11. Thats great, and you still need deserts like cake, ice cream, chocolate covered strawberries or cupcakes. Also Coffee, Wine, soft drinks.

I would add a fruit station and maybe a pasta station. Pasta is easy to do and it will be a lil different in case they aren't in the mood for a sandwich.

Good Luck. It's always better to have more than run out.
