How much for a passport?

how much does it cost for a passport if you are 21 and have never had one before? also how much does it cost to renew an old passport? i am 19 and it went out of date a few years ago.

Same for an out of date renewal.

Well done Mike M. I'm afraid it does cost a good amount of money and if you're going to travel into Europe you will have to have more than 6 months left on your passport or you cannot travel, but it sounds as if you're applying for a new one and also renewing one. Just thought I'd let you know that extra piece of information
