How much for an appartment in mexico city?

Agree with the girl. You could find very cheap places ($100 USD-$200 USD) per month but on not very nice places. Expect to pay at least $300 USD per month if you want a decent apartment. However, the important thing in here is CLOSE TO SCHOOL. Mexico City's traffic is hectic, and metro could get very crowded during rush hours, so find somewhere near, walking distance. Ask your school, they usually know about apartments, or even students that rent apartmetns and rent separate rooms. There are several options. Good luck!

It depends on the part of the city you want to live, I recommend renting a place near the school/university/research centre you will attend because traffic is crazy and it takes a looong time to go from one place to another even if you own a car
