How much for graphic on business card?

Around about how much should I charge for a simple graphic design for a business card? I don't have a whole lot of experience doing business cards (I usually deal with the website side of things), but this design is something I can definitely accomplish.

Typically they charge by the complexity and also what they're starting from. i.e. how easy you make it for them

If you tell someone to "make me a logo" without any starting point, they might charge you $50+/hr for "creative time"

But if you have a napkin doodle of SOMETHING, give them a color scheme, image etc. that's definitely better then nothing.

Our graphics dept charges anywhere from $30-3000  to start for brand development.

A lot of times for business cards tho, you're just taking a logo and putting it into vector format (line art) which it sounds like you'd be doing for your client.

Be reasonable.

If it takes you 20 minutes to trace it with Adobe Illust. then $30 is fine, but if it's something that requires more effort.... don't be afraid to charge it!
