How much fuel do we need to waste on racing before we realize that we have no more?

Crude oil is past the half gone stage and we still carry on like we always have. There is Hybrids, Hydrogen, electric and alternative fuels, but we seem to be to comfortable with something we will never, I mean never, be able to replace or repair the effects of.

  3. i have a jag xjs and it does 13mpg . and it also runs on ethanol and lpg but when i used them my fuel consumption changed to 8mpg. and i still love burning all the 'precious' fuel when i race it!

  6. Crude oil is far from past the half gone stage, in fact, there is probably 2-3 times more oil yet to be discovered than has currently been produced or discovered.  You need to get your facts straight.

  7. The plants are recycling that CO2 into O2 and it keeps the C to turn into oil & gas. The fossil fuels are from plant fossil not animal.

  8. Nascar will find a way to race even if they have to push.
