How much fuel does a HGV cab consume with or without a load.?

also how much would just a cab cost? £25k ish? just for the cab?

Hi, i drove a DAF it was a 13ltr engine and with a load of about 15 tonne on a run to south wales i got an average of about 12miles a gallon, comming back empty was better, around 22mpg,i recall puting in 140lts for the day drivers shift. As for cost, the tractor and frdge trailer i used didn't leave much out of £100,000, So pretty expensive.

newest volvos do 10 mpg or 19 at 45kmh unlaiden.avg. is 4-5 mpg for older any truck.

cabs are Dirt cheap at moment,bacause of fuel costs

try looking for a good lpg conversion mechanic to do your truck if u do decide,
