We have to settle a fight between my husband and his friend. If you have a website that gives the specifics that would be cool so we can print off proof.

  1. now that all depends on the type(boeing, mcdonnell douglas,

    or airbus)model(747,777,dc-9,dc-10,md-11,73... and

    is it an extended range or a standard. you can find out some of the info at the boeing website. just look up boeing and you can find out this info.an example is the mcdonnell douglas dc-8-72 has a range of 13,000 mile with the cfm-50c2 turbofans

    and the 747-400 roughly the same with pw4000 series engines. hope this helps. good luck
