  1. i have my bed my desk my couch a tv stand with my tv obviously a bed side table and a makeup table thats really little

my closets seperate and walk in so i dont have any dressers or anyhting

  2. It's all a matter of personal choice and need.

Based on your last question you clearly need a lot of furniture to store everything. And at the end of the day, having lots of furniture is worth it if it stores your things effectively. Much better than clutter everywhere!

Clear out as much as you can, but I must admit I'm in the same position. I hold dear to so many things - much to my OH's dismay!

I would be inclined, if you have the space, to buy a double bed, and then get some great under bed storage boxes - you would not believe how much stuff I have rammed under mine!

Keep your two bedsides, they dress the room nicely and provide a little storage.

Keep your wardrobe and a chest of drawers (maybe two) - pick everything you value most first and fill these spaces. I would then try and part with as much as what's left over as possible.

Keep your shelving units for all your bits.

Why not sell stuff on Ebay as well as give to charity, this way you could treat yourself to something really nice as a way to make up for parting with so much stuff!

Hope this is some help! x

  3. A bed, two night stands, a chest of drawers and a cedar chest…but our bedroom can’t contain everything that we’d like it to.  My husband gets the bedroom chest of drawers and most of the two closets in our room, and I keep most of my clothes in the closet & two chests of drawers in our guest room.

  4. You want to have enough 'stuff' to make the room cosy but not so much that it is just full of things and cluttered. Keep some of your favourite things and maybe make them a feature, like a nice vase on a table or a special photograph in a nice frame.

  5. Wardrobe.

    Desk.

TV Stand (holds tv, dvd, freeview box, books, dvds, cds,)

    Bed

Bedside Table (holds lamp + bedtime things)

    Chest of drawers.

I also have 4 boxes underneath the bed.
