i have a 12 x32 pool it holds 980 gal

you would be better off calling to find a pool filling company,

how deep is the pool--

length x width x average depth x 7.5 will give you how many gallons for Rectangular Pools

Round, Oval & Free-form Pools - aver. length x aver. width x aver. depth x 5.9

so william your pool must only be like 4" deep if you only have 980 gallons in a 12 X 32 pool
