i have one its a gallon to a gallon and a half

Hard to say exactly. All cars are different depending on the size of the fuel tank. If you look in the owners manual it should tell how how much gas is left when the gas light comes on. For example on a Camry I believe there's 3 gallons left when the gas light comes on. Hope this helps.
