How much gas will be wasted, if the small burner is on without flame for 7 hours?

I have kept opened my small burner without burning it, by mistake. After 7 hours only i came to know about that, than i closed. I want how much gas i have wasted because of my memory loss. this is normally happening in those houses where all are working.
