I just inherited an 1851 civil war rifle and also a gun powder case that came with it full of gun powder and also a couple muskets.... So i was wondering how much gun powder was poured down the barrel of the gun to fire the musket. Thanks

  1. Repost this in the hunting section and you'll get more response. That's where the gun guys hang out. Or gunbroker.com has some great forums and a lot of experts. Good luck!

  2. try getting to gether with a bunch of civil war reenactors or a mountainmen's group. Either one uses the old black powder rifles and canons in thier play time!
