How much has global warming awareness increased since 1993?

It has increased enormously and unreasonably. today it has taken on the form almost of a religion where so many things go unquestioned. We have had warm periods before but there was no real relationship to carbondioxide saturation in the atmosphere. What has been totally ignored is the fact of increased sun spot activity over which we have no control at least to my knowledge. If people were really serious about this problem they would cut down on flights to distant countries when they have conferences on this matter. How about stopping the armaments industry and pollution caused by warfare? Printing newspapers removes carbon consuming trees daily. Car races are popular but must be really good at pouring pollution into the atmosphere. Daily car travel could be decreased but most people seem to think other people rather than themselves need to make these sacrifices. What a frenzy we are stirring up and I really do not know if it is really warranted.

It's not awareness anymore, its bullshitness and I'm pretty sure everyone heard of global warming by 2007.

It is going the wrong way. There is more and more global warming ignorance due to the misinformation from the schools, etc. It is sad to see so many people blatantly lied to.

If you go by the News, quite a bit.  After all, it's never been a secret.  We discussed it when I was in High School in the 1960's.  If you go by Yahoo Answers, hardly at all, of course.
