  1. Not a dime. The Congress is the one who approves all Federal spending and all bills for spending originate in the House of Representatives.

    he doubled the debt numerically, but he cut the value of the dollar in half - so real debt is the same

By the white house's own estimation the war in iraq will cost more than $1.7 trillion--and since this is the first time this country has gone to war without raising taxes guess who we owe $1.7 trillion to?   4. roughly 4 trillion, the bigger question  is how much more will he add even after he leaves the office.  remnants of his policies will hunt us for a long time.

    2009 estimate is already 490 billion.
