Hiya, I'm pretty rubbish with this whole thing, if anyone could help me out that'd be great.

I put £1.50 each way (so £3 stake) on king johns castle which came in 2nd. how much do I win??

You probably got quarter of the odds for the place so you would have had £1.50 at 5/1, so you will get £7.50 back plus your stake - £9.

Assuming you get 1/4 the odds then you get £1.50*20/4 so £7.50 plus your £1.50 stake.

I want to place my bets with the girl who'd give you £33 back for that ;-)
