Good Friday, and the Fish shops are busy

I was wondering how much up and around the world people are paying for the GREASY TREAT ?

I paid £3.70 for fish and chips fresh out of the pan, and they where fantasic.... cleaned up

I just wondered how much your going to pay for your takeaway

£4.50 ! fish n chips used to be a cheapish takeaway but these days for the whole familly to have it it's a bit of a luxury,

I'm not even catholic but I am having fish today, I think I paid $1.50 for a pound of catfish  and seeing the dollar vs the enlish pound that would equate about two sheckles. I really don't understand you limies, why don't you just make your own fish and chips like us americans and quit bitching about the price!

fish and chips?? i would never eat those together. but i heard that over in england they call french fries "chips".  im guessing thats what your talking about. i would spend about $5.00 for some

Bought some fish from Tesco for £2.50 will cook it later with some new potatoes and veg. All in all it will probably cost me more than you paid so you got a real good bargain, well done
