Ya i know he is a little weird looking, but im not over-selling him at all. I've run him on barrels in 28 seconds flat. He doesn't do em perfect but he has speed, even for a draft. Slow trot for western but picks it up into an extended trot that is quicker after a week on english training. So much potential. And he fell asleep after like an hour at the cross-ties when i was braiding his hair for a show. Slow when you want him to be yet can pick up the pace when asked of him

  1. HiThere,

You link you provided does not seme to work, please provide a link that will take us to the picture and i will be happy to tell you what I think.

    Thanks,

    Horse Lover!

  2. hmmm. i would ask a trainer who specializes in halflingers. I know paint and quater horses who are started on barrels and jumps go for anywhere from several hundred to a couple thousand.

There are several halflinger website networks that you could post him on, and just put best offer. that would give you an idea of what he could go for. Or you could just post the same question on one of those websites.

I looked at a few halflinger breeder's sites and their horses were priced from $3000 to $5500.

    Good luck!

  3. Hello,

I couldn't get the link to work...

After you fix it I will be glad to take a look.

We have two barrel horses, they run the LARGE pattern in 16-17 seconds...a small pattern in 13-14 seconds...  They are 1D barrel horses.
