How much heat energy is lost in each use of an average toaster?

other than nichrome/mica sheets and stove top toasters...are there any other types of toaster??

All of it.  Every tiny bit of energy used by the toaster is lost as heat.  Since everything returns to it's original temperature (including the toast) all it did was heat air and make your bread nice and crispy.

Great thought!   Now let's outlaw toasters too.  The world will be a much better place if we just let the greenie-fascists run everything.
