How much heating oil in liters does the average house hold use in a year ?

That depends on a few things, such as where the house is, if it is exposed to wind, and how well insulated it is.

Years ago I lived in a kind of drafty little place, and remember that I used about 2,500 liters of oil to heat it.  Fortunately I also had a woodstove.  I was not exposed to heavy winds most of the time, but I live in one of the coldest inhabited areas in the world.  Some years though were warmer than others, some years cooler.  So the amount of oil I used would vary.

my moms tank was a 3000 litre oil tank and she had it filled up 4 times in a yr. so u can do the maths on that one.
