How much horse power do you need on a boat to pull one skier?

size and weight of boat would be important to know.

size wieght hull form, skiiers weight, sea water conditions, experience, equipment quality... there is no, specific size. used to pull a skiier behind my 4meter flatacraft force 4, with a 35hp johnson. could pull a wake board too, but took experience to get up on theboard with that small engine. pulled a ringo, doughnut, what ever ya want to call them no problem.

but ive seen boats with 80hp engines, struggle to get a skiier up.
