How much horsepower is needed to pull a skier?

with a 20 ft boat, how much hp is needed to pull a slalom skier easily?

well, for the first answer, i'd love to see a boat with 10,000 HP. depending on the weight of the skiier,  the technique the skiier uses to get up (one foot in or both feet in)  and how good the skiier can get up anyway 145 HP sholud be doable. more would be better. an average ski tow boat motor has around 300-360 HP. I think the new hammerhead has around 400HP. I skiied behind a new malibu more for wakeboarding last weekend (has the hammerhead) and was dissapointed in the pull power at the hole shot.
