I live in Hackney, E8 and I'm looking for a flat, what are the housing allowance payment brackets for flats in hackney?

(for example for one person in a flat in hackney it maybe £140).

  1. Or, why not find a job and pay the rent yourself? No worries there.

  2. sorry mate but get a job (if you havent already) I'm not going to work 50 hours a week missing out on my daughter's life to have £700 a month deducted in tax to pay for your lazy ***.

i cant believe that so many people have the cheek to ask questions like these.

  3. Usually Councils have an on-line housing benefit calculator.  You put in your income, age, circumstances, cost of rent etc., and it will tell you how much, if anything you will get.  Check out their website therefore is my advice!

  4. Depends on your situation. What is your age? Do you have a partner, kids are you on Jobseekers or Income support child or working tax credit etc etc.

I don't expect you to answer these questions, but the situation will affect your benefits.

Try this calculator on the link below. It will give you a bit of an idea about your entitlement.

  5. Well that depends......If your a sponger hopefully none. I get none. I have a wife & two kids & pay for everything myself including all the spongers in our society. Do you know what I mean.

  6. Get a job and pay your own rent!
