I understand that The works drain cleaner contains hydrochloric acid. also i know that hydrochloric acid is used as a catlyst in TATP. So how much of this do i need for lets say if i use 1 fl oz of acetone and 1 fl oz of hydrogen peroxide then how much of "the works" do i need. or what is the ratio. Also let me make sure i know the process of making tatp, mix the acetone with the hydrogen peroxide, then carefully pour in the catalyst, then once it crystalizes, filter it with a coffee filter, then make sure it is neutral in pH before i let it dry.

AND FOR CHRISTS SAKE I AM NOT AN ARSONIST, I KNOW WHAT I AM DOING, I AM SMART ENOUGH NOT TO BLOW MY SELF UP (COME ON I AM ONLY MAKING THE = TO 2 FL OZ), SO PLZ FOR MY SANITY'S SAKE DO NOT SAY YOUR DUMB, UR GONNA BLOW YOURSELF UP.

Thank you!

  1. Dude, if you are using drain cleaner as an ingredient in your 'recipe', then you certainly have NO IDEA what you are doing, and have never done anything like this before.  No, you probably won't blow yourself up... but blindness is a good possibility, as well as getting yourself on every watch list there is now that ECHELON has tagged this post.

Put down the anarchists cookbook..  it's a misleading mess of bad information.

A little knowledge is a very, very dangerous thing.
