How much in New York?

how much would i be spending for.. clothes and accesories in new york? I would like to spend as little as possible because I heard that things in new york are all expensive? Can anyone give me prices for something like a hollister tee or a nice long cardigan that would be one sale? (sale would be under $30 for a pull over sweater, and under $20 for a tee). if you want i can give you pics of what i want. And where exactly would i find these sale items? and don't tell me an outlet. ohh and um preferably somewhere near the trump tower? because my hotel is near there too.

For reasonably fashionable clothes at reasonable prices in that area you could try H&M on fifth ave and 51st st.
