  1. Our wedding cost £8000, including the honeymoon.

We had a big church wedding with a lot of guests, because we both had family and friends to invite. My wife had always wanted a big wedding with a nice dress, so that's what I wanted to do. There's nothing wrong with a low budget wedding, but ours was just great as well.

  2. Our budget is £10K at the moment we are coming in at under budget...the biggest expense is the reception and food £5K for 140 people. we have a dj friend playing for free. my mum contributed the cake and my fiance's auntie wants to contribute the cars. I did the invites myself (john lewis) and have opted for no favours. I managed to buy my bridesmaids and flower girls dresses -new . We are also going to Barbados for honeymoon and am still under budget-- it can be done...just takes time to bargain hunt and negotiate!!

  3. around $5000 but that's not including the wedding favors and gifts for attendants.

  4. not much

    went to las vegas

  5. My budget is 7k all together. That includes £2500 for the honeymoon. My dad is paying for my dress, my mum is paying for the reception decorations and my bridesmaids are paying for their own dresses. You really can do it on a budget. Find clever people in your family to help. I have my auntie doing my flowers, my Mums best friend is making the cake and my great aunt is doing all the alterations. All for free!!

  6. I am only 16, so havent had a wedding yet but i no they dont come cheap, even a small reception costs around £1000, with the buffey and everything afterwards as well :) Also, more with the honeymoon or if ur having a big wedding in a church:)

    congratualtions and hope i helped-xx-

  7. lol silly 12 year olds... you didnt get married... dont lie.... but seriously.... 3-15grand... depends how picky you are... and how much of a strangle hold you have on your man.

  8. about $15,000... but my mom is florist and she's dong flowers/centerpieces and I made my invitations (which turned out amazing I might add).

  9. I have been married twice, the 1st time is cost just under £8000 we had a full white church wedding and to be honest with you it wasnt as great as i expected it to be,  I was so stressed worrying about everything being perfect that i hardly remember much about the day at all apart from not being able to relax.

The second time i married was last year when i was 27, we just went for a simple registery office, a gorgeous simple white wedding dress, we just invited family to the wedding, then afterwards we hired a massive room in a local social club and invited everyone we knew, a few friends made an amazing buffet for everyone, a local dj played all the music for the night, and we had the time of our life and it didnt cost more than £500 for the whole wedding and reception.

  10. Right now our number is rounding at $15,000 which is $5,000 OVER our "budget" but we can still afford it. We are NOT using credit cards of any sort for our wedding.

  11. my kids was around 2-3,000.00...mine was $20.00 my hubby and i got married in a courthouse on a wim....we grabbed 2 little old ladies for witnesses and then went and had an ice cream cone to celebrate...that was 7 kids and 34 yrs ago......

  12. my wedding cost about 4000 pounds last november. we had 60 guests for the reception and 100 for the evening. to save money i made every thing that i could, the bouquet's, the centre pieces, name cards, invitations, favours etc

  13. ours was about $10,000.00 which wasn't too bad considering how nice it turned out ..the biggest cost is the food for sure so the less guests the cheaper the wedding ..we had a fairly big wedding! You can save a lot of money by making your own center pieces, shopping around for quotes on bouquets, buying a second hand dress :) good luck!!

  14. Not far off £1000 all in including the honeymoon (5 years ago)

  15. About £3000.  We got married in a hotel late in the afternoon and went straight into a party for the night, no sit down reception.  Bridesmaids paid for their own dresses and my gift to them was the jewellery I wanted them to wear.  As we had been living together for 6 years before getting married we asked for gift vouchers towards our honeymoon.  Also, because we got married just before Christmas, I saved on decorations as the hotel had already put up their tree and Christmas decorations!
