How much influence do you allow your peers to have in your daily activities?

What I am getting is can you do something without asking another person if it is cool or right, and even further can you do something no one else seems to do without worrying what someone will think?

ex. Sheila wants to become a volunteer at an old folks home because she knows old people need love and care and also have great stories but her snooty friends think she is a bore or derranged for even considering it.

This question has NOTHING to do with my life and I only want answers that pertain to YOU, if you cannot answer like this please DO NOT ANSWER!

Thanks

  1. Sometimes, but i don't think other people are always right. Every decision I make is what I think is right. It's not my friends decision, it's mine. I'll take advice though, especially from my mom because i luv her so much and she's right most of the time.

But eventually, people have to learn 2 make decisions on there own because u won't always have someone there to make the decision for you.  ;)

  2. most of the times i  make my own desicion in daily basis

rarely i care what the others say about that

    isnt my problem

  3. 10%

  4. Well, I don't have any friends at school, but I am constantly worried about what all of the kids at school think of me. I avoid going to lunch because of the pressure of having to find someone to sit by, and I can't go to a random table and sit by people I don't know, or who don't want me there.

Also, I didn't participate in track, even though I have always been a fast runner, because I don't like having people watch me (like in most sports). And, I don't like the pressure of potentially letting the team down because of my failures.

Therefore, I believe that my life is mostly lead by others' opinions or potential opinions of me 75% of the time.

  5. No, i'm not a desperate loser who needs other's approval. I'll accept suggestions from my friends, but every decision in my life is up to me.
