How much insurance does a jumps jockey pay per year?

saying the jockey has an average of 10 rides per week, what would his/her premium be?...& do they have a special insurance company to cover them or do they shop around for the cheapest quotes from everyday insurance co`s...thanks

  2. the insurance you are asking about is included in and covered by the riding fee paid by the owner(s) of the horse he rides.It is immaterial how many rides he has it is a mandatory payment .on top of that some,if not most j.jocks will have a personal policy to cover the bits the mandatory one does not.
