  1. http://efunda.com/units/convert_units.cf...

  2. 0.3 of an acre is 3/10ths

    1 acre is 4000 square metres

    1/10 acre is then 400 sq.m.

    So 0.3 acre is 1200 sq.m.

                                QED !

    If you want it in sq. ft  ....:

    1 m x 1m  =  3.25 ft x 3.25ft .=  10.56 sq.ft per sq.m.  OK ?

    therefore: 0.3 acre is 1200 x 10.56 sq ft.

                              = 12672 sq.

    This is of course a near approximation.

  3. 1 acre= 43,560 sq. ft.

    .3= 30%

    therefore, .3  x 43,560=

    13,068 sq. ft

  4. 1/3 of an acre - around 13,000 square ft or around 1214 sq meters
