  1. One acre is 4840 square yards which is equal to 4047 square metres.  A football pitch can be a variety of shapes and sizes.

Officially a football pitch must be between 100 yards (90m) and 130 yards (120m) in length and the width not less than 50 yards (45m) and not more than 100 yards (90m).

If we took the pitch to be an average size of 105m by 67.5m then this would be 7087.5 square metres.  This is 1.75 acres and so you could say there are approximately one and three quarter acres in a football pitch.

This being the case 5 acres would be just under 3 football pitches.

    Hope this helps!

edit: I am from Scotland and so to me "football" meant soccer, if you are talking about american football as we call it then one acre is 90.75 yards of a 53.33-yard-wide American football field and so the full field including the end zones is about 1.32 acres and so 5 acres would be just under 4 american football pitches.

  2. 5 football fields not counting the end zones would be 5 and one sixth acres. in other words 150 feet times 300 feet and that answer divided by 43560 .
