We have Adobe, but my mom says it costs extra.How much extra is Adobe?

I have old photographs that I want to upload but my mom said Adobe cost extra.Everytime I try to use the Facebook photo uploader, theres a problem.I don't know if its improved since Facebook changed its look, but all I know is everytime I click Facebook photo uploader it comes back as error.WTH?

So how much extra would I have to pay for Adobe?

Are you talking about Photoshop Express? It's free, at least for now, with a 2GB limit. Their consumer software is sold outright. You only have to pay more to buy upgrades.

Adobe is a company which makes several different products. There is Photoshop, the premier photo manipulation program which is bundled with  3 or 4 other programs (depending on the package), costs about $1500.

Next is Adobe Photoshop Elements, which is a very stripped down version of Photoshop, but will only run you about $80.

Next is the super streamlined (limited functionality) Photoshop Express, which is an online photo editor.

Now, to your problem. You say you have old photographs which won't upload? Are they in Jpeg format? Check the specs for Facebook and make sure the format you are trying to upload is compatible. How big are they? Some uploaders don't like huge images, and so you will have to resample it down in order to upload.

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements and I bought it at BestBuy.  You don't pay for it monthly....it's a one-time purchase.  I think mine cost about $80.  I can edit pictures on there...and share them online if I wanted to.
