How much is Budget's "Mexican Automobile Liability Insurance"?

im renting soon and i need to go to mexico, budget offers this type of insurance but im quite scared to ask... i just need to go by the border.. what will happen if i dont get the insurance and actually drive to mexico?? im scared,, but im really daring lol. thanks

Your personal automobile policy will not provide coverage for you in Mexico. Therefore, you would be uninsured if you don't take out Budget's mexican insurance.

If you plan on going into Mexico - buy the insurance.
