  2. The exchange rate varies depending upon where you make the actuall exchange I was just there 3 weeks ago and the rate was between 3.15 and 3.55.

  3. you can find on the streets -->to buy 1 $ = 3.17 S/.   to sell 1$ = 3.16 S/.

    in banks -->to buy  1$ = 3.2 S/., to sell 1$ = 3.16

  4. still a dollar

  5. One dollar is one dollar no matter where you are. Just because your in another country, it doesn't change one dollar  from being one dollar.

  6. It is 3.185 Nuevo Sol as of today (July 20, 2007) It varies every day.  To find the everyday conversion rate check these websites:

    http://finance.yahoo.com/currency/conver...

    http://coinmill.com/PEN_USD.html

    OR

    Call your bank and they should be able to tell the conversion rate every day.  (sending money to other countries, you might have to pay Foreign exchange service charge).

    Hope this helps.

  7. Today the dollar was set at 3.190 soles. Just be sure and set it at 3.2 as it fluctuates every day but between 3.19 and 3.2.

  8. 3.2 new sol
