  1. No.  I'm sorry to tell you it's not going to be that good.  The 1988 set had a lot of common, unexciting cards.

It sells retail for approx. $30.  A dealer may give you $10 or $15 if they're in a buying mood.

Note:  I'm not wrong.  See the link:  http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=na...

  2. You are lucky to get $8-12 including the shipping costs though on ebay.  1988 Topps was extremely overproduced has no key RC's that has much value.  You are just better off keeping it or sell it to some young collector for $5 that might get a kick out of having cards that are 20 years old.

  3. ummm well thats a lot of cards i would say right now about 5K (a guess)

but hold onto them for another 50 years and the price will skyrocket

  4. right now 50$

in 50 years 500$person above me is wrong

  5. 1988 set is listed at about 25 bucks.  Right now there isn't even a single bid for any of the '88 sets on ebay.

Very overproduced.  The price will NOT go up in 50 years.  The industry has changed.  Cards don't get more valuable just because they get older anymore.

Trust me.  I speak the truth.
