  1. Well, brazilian currency is not Rias, but, Real.

1 Real=0.50 dollar, then, USD 1.00= R$ 2,00 (we write 2,00 and not, 2.00 for units). You must to use a point for one thousand or more, ex: R$ 2.000,00 two thousand Reais).

30" is anot a common size, in Brazil. The most common are 29" or 32", not a great difference.

The greatest magazines sells a 29" TV (not plasma screen, but LCD) between R$ 1.200,00 (USD 600.00) and  more than R$ 2.000,00 (USD 1,000.00) .

    A 27" LCD TV may costs until R$ 2.800,00 (USD 1,400.00).

    While a 32" LCD TV, may costs some between  R$ 3.300,00 (USD 1,150.00) and R$ 4.600,00 (USD 2,300.00).

All prices includes taxes for sales on brazilian territory.

You can see these links for some very respected great magazines from Rio (Casa & Vídeo, Americanas, Shoptime, and Ponto Frio) plus another from São Paulo (Submarino). All of these have online sales to all brazilian territory. See:
