How much is a 5 gram tube or cream?

I'm about to order a 5 gram tube of EMLA cream; I was wondering how much cream this really is?

Can someone give me a volume estimate by like how many "pennies big" it is?

Or how much skin it will cover, etc. thanks

uhmm an emla tube is probably about the same size tube as cold sore cream. Emla cream isn't very thick so it spreads quite easily.

could easily cover your face if you used it like moisturizer.

if you're going to use it for a tattoo it probably isn't the best idea. sometimes tattoo's don't come out as good because the cream penetrates the skin so when it wears off the tattoo fades with it.
