I'm getting a AKC & CKC reg. Siberian Husky for a very cheap price because of its owner does have time and wants a good home. I have a strong love for animals and I want to know how much they are worth so I know. I can't wait to take care of this dog and love it.

  1. well here in the uk we would pay from £400-£700 depending on colour and eye colour but can get them as little as £200 if they are wanted to get rid of quick as they are very hyper dogs with a ot of energy and some just like the look and do not realize how much of a handful they can be so be prepared for alot of hard work and a lot of walks if not you will have a sad and depressed dog that will eat your house and bad manured but other than that they are great companions

  2. The AKC, I think is $25 and the CKC $12.  Make sure you register your pup atleast with AKC.  See if the owner has a pedigree.  If not, you can order one thru AKC so you can have her family tree.

CKC is not the most respected breeders club there is.  AKC also has breeders with faults.  That's not to say that your pup owner is a bad person.  Most of my dogs are CKC.  My sire is CKC, AKC and ADBA.  If you can get an AKC pedigree to the 4th generation, you can have him registered with ADBA  (American Dog Breeders Assoc) whether you breed him or not.

Take care, buy a rake for blowing coat season.  My sister has a Husky and she's beautiful.

  3. Continental Kennel Club registration is worthless, and AKC registration is only as good as the breeder.

If the breeder of this dog was any good, the dog would (by CONTRACT) be going back to them -- not being sold at a cheap price by its owner.

The Siberians I rescue and re-home have fees of $100-$200, depending on whether they had to be spayed/neutered before they were placed. Registration has nothing to do with this price.

I'm glad you are excited about the dog, but if you haven't researched the breed you really need to do that research before you commit. Siberian huskies are not for everyone.

  4. From my POV, you can't/don't put a price tag on love.  Why does it matter how much his breed goes for if you plan on keeping him/her and love him/her? ....
