  1. (I live in Australia) I THINK but I'm pretty sure that a U.S. dollar is worth 98c in Aus., or its the other way around.

  2. Current today $US .90 to $AU 1.00 therefore you will get approximately $AU1.10 for $US 1.00. Milk $2.50 Litre Bread $2.50 loaf Butter $3.00 per 500gms.Glass of Coke at Club or Hotel  $2.00.We use the metric system here.Hamburger $4.00. Petrol $1.55 litre. Hope this helps.

  3. Australia is expensive to Americans because their dollar is worth about .000001 of an Aussie dollar. My daughter's father is American and when he's over, all he does is whine about how much everything costs (he earns $100,000 American). Go figure as you might say!

  4. Type in currency conversion into you search engine. They have a calculator on these sites that wil determine the current price. Good luck

  5. US dollar is worth 1.05 AUD dollars approx. Having said that I think u should be smarter as u are using the internet and not ask such a silly question
