How much is a broken riding lawnmower worth?

I have an 18.5 HP 42'' deck Craftsman riding lawnmover that is ~3years old (46 hours used) and last week I "threw a rod". How much could I sell it for?

3 years and it throws a rod thats really a short time you said only 46 hours I would talk to briggs and stratton about it dont know how much good it would do but you should get 15 years outa the dam thing if properly cared for.

About $.03 a pound for scrap.

I would divide the orginal price paid, by half, then find out the price of the rod and replacing the rod, and bingo, there is a reasonable selling price.
