Question:

How much is a cab in Liverpool from Anfield to Central Railway Station?

I am attending the Liverpool Sound concert this weekend. How much would a cab be from Anfield Stadium to the Central Railway Station, after 11pm?

Also, the event will be busy so will cabs just show up, or should I book in advance? If I need to book, I'd appreciate some suggestions for who to use, although I don't know what time it will be finishing so they are unlikely to want to take my booking.

The concert is due to finish at 22:20, and my train leaves at 23:45, is this cutting it fine, or should I be fine for time, considering the congestion the event will cause!

Thanks.

  1. your best booking a cab to be sure to get to the train on time! shouldnt be more than £5

  2. I'd say about 12 pounds, I think that leaves you good time to make it.

  3. When you leave Anfield just cross the road and you will get a bus right into town. It costs £1.50

It will take about 15 minutes

  4. get the 26 bus outside anfields  ground costs£1.50  a cab should be no more than £6.00

  5. The concet is due to finish at 23.00hrs my mum works in the tourist board and she has said it is due to finish at 23.00!!!!!!!!

You need to book in advance

  6. under a tenner.

you wont need to book, there are plenty of cabs around.

  7. City Kabs is an Anfield taxi firm 0151-709-0202

I doubt they will take a booking because the time would not be fixed - I would ring them when you know the concert is coming to an end and don't forget they will be very busy on the night so I hope your name isn't Smith....there will be no extra charge whatever the time.

  8. there should be black cabs around, you could book one but you dont need to.

that leaves you loads of time, you could walk to the train station no problem in that time (dont though, get a cab, safer and whatnot).

wont be too expensive, would be surprised if it was more than a tenner.

    have fun

  9. You will have to book in advance if you can get one to do the run and after 11pm the price could go to time and a half so phone around and get some quotes,,

  10. Walk towards breck road (5 mins walk) when you get out and you then start heading for town walking and you will soon pick up a black cab. I would say the fare will be no more than a fiver, seven pounds at the most.
