  1. they are not exactly 'gold'

  2. The Sacajawea dollars are only gold colored, they are not made of gold.  Yes, it's a dirty trick, but there you are.  Sorry.  Now you know why everybody avoids them like the plague.

Each one is worth a dollar.

  3. Hi, these Sacagawea dollars have a copper core (inside) with an outer layer of Manganese brass and if they  are in mint condition are worth just a bit over face value to a dealer, ie $1.10, if they are still in the mint roll then maybe $1.50 each. Even here in Australia I have a few rolls, they are not rare the (p) Philadephia mint mark coins were made in large numbers 767,140,000 were minted.

Unless by any chance you have the Presentation finished coins given to the designer Glenda Goodacre (5000 specially produced coins) then the  catalog value is $500

Or then there is the 22 carat gold Numismatic specimens aparently  these were struck at West Point in 1999. and might be dated 2000 (w)? I don't have any information on the value of these.

  4. Unless they are proof (mirror finish) coins with the 'S' mint mark (Small letter below the date - 'S' is San Francisco), they are worth not much over face value. 2000 is an extremely common date. The mintage was in the hundreds of millions.
