How much is a gondola ride these days?

depends if u hagle with them it would be less.  but im not sure exactly.  i think we paid 20 per person

hello it depends on the turn that you make and from that gondola you take!! but the price is not equal for all. For some it is 10 euro to person for others can arrive to the 20 euro, if pits in I would make you, is beautifulst. A kiss from Martina… w Italy...

The gondolas have a set price of 75 euros for about 50 minutes.  This price goes up as the sun sets.  If you want the gondolier to sing to you, that will cost more and if you want someone to play the guitar for you, that will also cost more.  On most gondolas you can fit at least 6 people but many hold 8-10.  It is the least expensive if you travel in a group during the day.  

You may be able to find a gondolier you can haggle with on the back canals but the ones on the main canals can charge a premium because they have the best routes.  If you are just looking for the experience then go a little off the beaten path and take one of the less riden gondolas and save some money.

I'm pretty sure about 90 Euro. But you can squeeze, I believe, up to 10 people in there. So, try to find a group which shouldn't be hard because tourists in Venezia are all over like Coca Cola!

I skipped the gondola and took the water taxi and that was my Venetian experience. But if you're not poor like me, go for it!

Last check was Euro 80.00 for a 40 min. ride.... but there is a much cheaper way to get a (quick) ride in a gondola. There are ferry stations up and down the Grand canal that will take you from one bank to the other of the canal for only 50 euro cents! The ride isn't all that romantic or instructive and you usually stand AND it lasts less than 5 mins.... but heck - it's a ride in a gondola ain't it!?

We paid 90 Euros (with tip) on our recent trip.  It was near sunset and it was about an hour long.
